The Brightness is the sun becauses it make up day. And it light up the moon too. I think the sun is about the size of four earths. The sun about 10,000 degress.

The sun is one of the most important things on Earth.
Is the sun really going to burn out? Is the world going to stop rotating if the sun burns out?
I would need to know this kind of information if i was a scientist, or someone who is studying the way of life.

The sun is going to die in about 5 billion years. Luckily we wont be here to experience that lol but the sun is eventually going to explode. I don't really know what will happen to Earth besides it freezing ending all life....unless a new start comes along and takes over.

1) There are some very large stars that are bigger than the sun.The sun is just so close to earth, that it appears to be the biggest star.
But i think that the sun is the brightest star!

2) I want to know how big the stars that are bigger than the sun actually are. I also want to know why we call it the sun instead of just calling it a star, just like any other star, because it isn't the biggest star out there!

3) This information will help us in the future if we want to be a meteorologist, or it could help us in future science classes.

1.) The sun is a huge ball of gas and is very bright. The sun is not the biggest starits just the distance it is from earth that makes u think its bigger. It is 10 times the size of jupiter! and you can see the sun in the day.

2.) Will the sun ever burn out ? Will a solar flare ever get so big it hits earth? If the sun burns out will there still be light?

3.)I need to khnow this for future references in case i study the sun or for high school or college science. i would also need to know this stuff to maybe be able to predict it if its ever going to happen?!?!?

1) My journal this week is about the sun compared to stars.the sun is just a star closer to the earth. So it looks bigger and brighter.
2) Is the sun hotter than other stars? If you were on other planets would the suns and the stars look the same?

I don't know a lot about the sun and the stars, but I know that they sun is smaller than the other stars, but the other stars are so far away that they look smaller than the sun! The sun looks big to us because its closer!
The questions I have about the comparsion is the sun brighter than the other stars or what? If the stars where closer would we have more than one sun?
Why I would need to know this information is because if I become a teacher then I would need to know this!

The brightness of the sun makes day time. The sun lights up the moon. The differance between the sun and the stars is that they are differant shapes,sizes, color, and the sun comes out during the day and the stars come out at night.

There is also special names for stars. one of them is the big dipper. there is more like the little dipper. that is basically all i know about stars. besides how far they are away from earth. and there brightness. that is what i want to learn. and what they are made out of.
