Why The World's Longest Word Will Never Appear In Any Dictionary Or Record Book!
BY: Meera Dolasia

This article is about the worlds longest word. The word is pneumonoultramicropisilicovolcanoconiosis tha scientific maeaning of this word is lung disease. "While this is technically true because it is the longest word you will ever see published in a dictionary or for that matter in most places, there are many words that believe it or not, are much longer than that". Some belive that theese long words arent really words.
This word is not just a gibberish concoction but a giant protein appropriately dubbed Titin that is made up of 244 unique folded protein domains and also contains the largest number of exons (363) in any single gene. This word is a mouthful. This word is really hard to say.

What would you do if you were in an elevator and the floor fell in, you would probably be scared because these people were.
It was just an allusion to scare people. When you got in the elevator it looked like it was breaking down then the floor would fall in.
Then people would try to get out. It seams real, lifelike.

I choose to do my article on -Video of The Week - LG Electronies Creates Fake Elevator Floor By Meera Dolasia

Could you image being in a elevator and the floor falling out under you. You might need a change of underwear HA! HA! . This was a prank pulled on some riders recently by a South Korean technology company LG.

It was not real, just an illusion. They did this using IPS monitors. Some of the audience that watched the video seem to think it was filmed using green screens and that the people riding in the elevator were actors.
Which ever I thought it was really a cool prank. Just like riding the elevator at Disney World in Hollywood Studio - Tower of Terror. Just makes life more interesting. You never know what to expect.

On November 16th, NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), captured on tape two spectacular back-to back sun eruptions. Also known as solar prominences, they are large glowing clouds of gas that periodically explode from the Sun's surface. the first eruption accured at 1:00 am EST with the other following within four hours.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis the scientific name for a lung disease. That is the longest word in the world and is not found in a dictionary. While the reason they are not published or given any credence is because they are purportedly not 'real' words, it may also be because they are sooooo long that including them would require the creation of a stand-alone edition. Most people don’t know how to say it, but one person said it took him 3.5 hours.

I picked the article about the world records. I thought this article was very interesting. It was about all these different people tht were trying to break many different world records. Some even did and they were very wacky.
Once again I think this article i s in fact interesting. One of the world records set were by the women who fit 28 people in side a mini hatch mini cooper. Another person tried setting a world record by liftin 51 pounds with his eye sockets. I think it's insane what people will do to become famous for a few seconds only to be forgotten later on.
This artcile is interesting. The way people did things and how they did to ge into the world record book. I loved this article, because it caught my attention very easily. People amaze me some times.

You may have a hard time finding the worlds longest word in the dictionary if you ever attemt to look for it. its hard to find it because most dictionarys don't put it in their book because of the cost for its own page! The 189,819 letter word neeeds its own page to fit in the dictionary! Although their is one person who attempted to say it, and it took him 3.5 hours!

I read Eighth Guinness World Record Day Inspires Wacky, Weird and downright Astonishing attempts. It was written by Meera Dolasia. The main idea was about people breaking the Guinness world records.
The main ide was people breaking records. One record was 27 women in a mini car. That record was broke by one 28. Another was a man trying to pick up 55 pounds with his eye sockets.
I picked this article because it looked cool. I didn’t learn much accept that if you keep trying you could succeed .

By: Meera Dolasia

If the elevator floor below you started falling, what would you do? Korean scientist generate an illusion that makes you think just that.

I think the idea and time gone in to this prank is amazing. I think it would be a great idea to do things like this more often.

The way the panels were made must've taken a long time to make. I wonderhow much time it took them to make it?

I picked this article because I love a good prank. I hope more videos like this will be posted in the future.

Why the world’s longest word will never appear in any dictionary or record book.
This article is the worlds longest word Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis - the scientific name for a lung disease commonly referred to as silicosis.
If you are on a computer look up the worlds largest\longest word. It should tell you that it is Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis. Isn’t that a long word! I think it is a really long word.
While the reason they are not published or given any credence is because In fact, the real longest word is so lengthy that even we do not dare publish it in its full 189, 819 letters - The only thing we can tell you is that it starts with methionyl . . and ends with . . . isoleucine. And incase you are wondering, it took the one person that did dare to say it aloud, a whopping 3.5 hours.

My article i chose is by Meera Dolasia and is about the homeless planet that does not orbit any star. It was found by a "team of astrophysicists led by University of Montreal's Itienne Artigau" by using two telescopes and collecting data. Scientists believe this is the first homeless planet discovered.
The planet is named CFBDSIR2149 it is about 100 light years away from Earth. It is believed to be between four to seven times the size of jupiter. The planet is predicted to be about 50 to 120 million years old. It is by a group of of very young stars known as the AB Doradus Moving Group and is not orbiting them.
Here is something they are not positive about. The scientists do not know is if this planet is a result of a normal planet being kicked out of its own solar system. Because of the lack of light or no star scientists must used an infrared telescope to study more clearly.
I chose this article becaule i thought it looked cool and i like to study about the universe. This helped me learn more things that scientists hope to find in the future. I think this will help in the future for me to learn about things that exist outside of our planet.

The protein that is used by the body for contraction of striated muscle tissues may not be the most crucial one that we need, but it is not totally worthless either! It is of course better known for its long convoluted scientific name!’ For those of you curious enough to hear the word aloud, below is a 3.33 minute video - test it out and see if you can even bear hearing that much. The longest word should be in the dictionary because everyone needs to know the word because if someone asks you what is the longest word you have ever heard of you can show them or if you can pronounce it than you can tell them.

Eighth Guinness World Record Day Wacky, Weird and Down Right Astonishing Attempts
By: Meera Dolasia
The Guinness Book Of World Records placed their own name in their book for the best selling copyright book in 2004. To celebrate they made a day were people in their book can try to break their own records. This lasts for 24 hours. On November 15th 420,200 people try to break their own records
400,000 students were trying to stack cups into pyrmids as fast as they could. 28 limber women squeezed into a mini hatch breaking a record and raising money for charity. Micheal Kopp won the record for spinning a basketball on a tooth brush for 26 seconds.
A guy from Japan lit up over 200,000 lights.2369 women did synchronized swimming.
I wonder how all these people could possible do these things. It must take a lot of practice and training. I think this was a great article. it was very interesting.

I am doing my article review on why The World's Longest Word Will Never Appear In Any Dictionary or Record Book! By Meera Dolasia on November 25, 2012.
“Search for the term 'world's longest word' and you probably find Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis - the scientific name for a lung disease commonly referred to as silicosis.” Wow I could not memorize how to spell it that if I studied it one hundred years. Now that would be really hard to memorize!
“While the reason they are not published or given any credence is because they are purportedly not 'real' words, it may also be because they are sooooo long that including them would require the creation of a stand-alone edition!” That is no lie. That would be hard to say.
“What is even more surprising is that this word is not just a gibberish concoction made up by some crazy person, but a giant protein appropriately dubbed Titin that is made up of 244 unique folded protein domains and also contains the largest number of exons (363) in any single gene.”I do not know what the word exons mean. But that is a lot of them.
The protein that is used by the body for contraction of striated muscle tissues may not be the most crucial one that we need, but it is not totally worthless either! I agree it is not worthless either.

I chose the article “Why The World’s Longest Word Will Never Appear In Any Dictionary Or Record Book!” I chose this because I thought it would be interesting to learn what the word is and why it isn’t in the book! It was interesting actually! You should read it.
If you search for the worlds longest word you will probably find the word, Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Which means a lung disease. But the real longest word is 189,819 letters long. If you dare to say the word out loud it would take you 3.5 hours at least.! The beginning of the world is methionyl and ends with isoleucine. It’s a huge word.
The reason that they wont publish the worlds longest word in a dictionary is because they would have to make a stand-alone book just for that word. Its that big! Anway I found this article interesting so you should like read it!

If you search for the worlds longest terms you'll probably find the word Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis which is the longer word for silicosis. silicosis is a lung disease. although that is a pretty big word it is not the biggest. the biggest word has from 189 words to 819 words.
The longest word in the world is so long it took the person who dared to say it 3.5 hours. why aren't these words in the dictionary? well thats easy. most people think these word are gibberish, so they dont use them. while most people think these words are gibberish, they aren't. most of the long words are scientific are medical related.
Most longer words are harder to say because they have more vowels like a,e,i,o,and u.

In 2004, the Guinness World Records book entered its own name in the book as the World's bestselling copyright book. To commemorate this momentous achievement, the company established a Guinness World Record Day - A 24-hour period during which people from all over the world can try break their own records. On November 15th, over 420,000 people took up the challenge and as you have probably guessed the record attempts ranged from simply amazing to downright wacky"the people in the car was the wackiest of them all to me"

3-D printers have come a long way since 1995 when MIT students Jim Bredt and Tim Anderson, an inkjet printer so that it a binding solution onto a bed of powder, instead of ink on paper. Today, printed are used for things ranging from and now it seems, even Agent 007 has discovered them!
Like all James Bond movies, Skyfall, the biggest of the yet, has a number of beautiful cars that get pretty beaten up during the non-stop exciting the agent is always on. However, the of one is particularly heart breaking (minispoiler alert aheaThat car happens to be James Bond's personal vehicle, a gorgeous but rare 960 Aston Martin that was last featured in the 1969 James Bond thriller 'Goldfinger'. And, as you would expect, this one too was blown up during a particularly explosive scene. But take heart - The director did not throw all caution to the wind and destroy the precious vehicle. Instead, he just had the detailed 'printed' with a super advanced 3-D printing machine!
The brilliant reproduction of the 960 Aston Martin was the result of a between movie prop experts Propshop Modelmakers Ltd. and Germany's Voxeljet that specializes in large-scale 3-D pri solution would have been to print the sports car in one piece, that was not good enough for a movie of this The director wanted the models to be as true to the real deal as possible and therefore requested that they be created almost like a real car - which in this case involved creating and assembling 18 individual
To get the printing process started Voxeljet first sketched the detailed design of the car on the computer using special software. Then began the printing process - whereby layer after layer of particle material were printed and glued on to each other. In this manner they 'built' a 3-D version of each part - From mudguards to doors to hoods and roofs. Since the film required 3 printed models, they had to create a total of 54 (18 per car). After that they carefully packaged and shipped them to the model makers at Propshop, who put each car together and then painted them the exact color of the original.
the replicas looked so realistic that the only way they could be from the real car, was the fact that they were just 1/3 the size - Of course, this was not apparent at all in the movie.
The directors could have also a similar feat by building plastic models of the car. But printing is much faster, more accurate and most importantly, much more economical to use - And things can only get better!
