If your still having problems putting togethyer a quality Article Review, look at this template again...

Article Review Template

In order to help with the article review assignment, I have created a format or template to use in structuring your
document.  With the aid of the scoring guide, this template will allow you to piece together a quality summary
of your selected article.

To begin with you should open a word document. This will allow you to copy and paste information and help organization this information into its proper paragraph. Each article review should have a minimum of four paragraphs.  The formats for each paragraph are as follows:

1st Paragraph

In this paragraph you should state which article you are summarizing and the author of the article.  Next, read the summary for the article on the main article page. (The page you are directed to after you click on this weeks articles).
Read this summary and find out the main ideas within the paragraph.  Restate this summary using your own words to be the body of the 1st paragraph.

2nd and 3rd and maybe 4th paragraph

These paragraphs must address the main ideas of the article.  Read the article and highlight or copy the ideas which “stick out” as important. Narrow down these ideas into two or three main ideas.  After you copy and paste these ideas into a document, create spacing between each of the ideas.  Then, within these spaces look for facts, quotes and/or examples which will help support the ideas.  Once this is completed you should have the structure for each of these paragraphs. Now all you have to do is write a few sentences to connect the main idea to the supporting information and the paragraph is complete!

Summary Paragraph

In this paragraph you should explain why you chose this article.  Then, give your opinion as to what you feel you learned from this article.  Also, express how the information in the article changed or added to your knowledge about the subject.  Finally, how will this knowledge help with having a better understanding of this subject in the future?

The glove that works o a blue tooth. It can type what you want bye the touching it with other fingers. THi invention could be a best seller in time. In my opinion they sould make it with more of leater.
The main idea is about a new invention that could make touch sceen look old. The inventers were from a school in the Alantic. They made it with only the most use letters in the alpabet. The invention was made just this year.

since 2007 the iphone touch screen has taken lots of changes but now u dont need to tap the screen all you need is..... a glove.the inventer of such a glove is Jiake Liu a student at the University of Alabama. the way the glove works is there is letters on the fingers and when the user types a message the glove send it to a chip in the back of the glove. once there it bluetuths it to a game, phone, or even a computer. this artical was made by Meera Dolasia

This glove is called a Gauntlet (Generally Accessible Universal Nomadic Tactile Low-Power Electronic Typist). A guy named Jiake Liu. He was a student from Alabama University. It is made for typing, playing games, and other things with a phone. It was made for people with disablities, or just for people who think it's cool.
Invented by a team of researchers led by Jiake Liu at the University of Alabama, the glove is fitted with wireless keyboard functionality. When the user types his/her message, a conductive wire transmits it to a small matchbox size control unit that sits on the back of the glove.
The display screens that respond to the touch of a finger or stylus have become the de facto standard for any respectable personal device.

my article review is on the incredible glove that makes touch screen keyboards so yesterday by Meera Dolasia. Jiake Liu invented the glove that turns your hand into a keyboard. When you write a message a conductive wire transmits it to a small matchbox size control unit that sits on the back of the glove. Then the glove turns into a bluetooth so it commands it to send it to a computer or a smart phone even a gaming system.
Once the user memorizes where the alphabets are situated, they can remove the stickers and really appear like they are sending messages. Or they can play video games by just making normal gestures with their gloved hand. They invented the glove to make our lives a little easier and it also helps people with disabilatizes. With the help of us we can help jiake put those gloves on the shelfs of stores.
This can help me in the future because if i don"t want my phone to have finger prints on them i can use the glove to avoid smidges on my phone. It will also help me in the future because it would be a new thing for me to try and i like to try new things. it would help me and my brother so we can bond over something.

I’m summarizing the paragraph about how scientist created gas out of thin air and water.
It is written by Meera Dolasia. The main idea is how to make fuel from air and water.
The paragraph is about the steps to make this unusual gas. This gas doesn’t harm the environment.it is made out of carbon dioxide and hydrogen from water.
They will use the gas in race cars and it may not be used in general public. I chose this paragraph because it looked interesting and cool. The paragraph tought me that you can make very clean stuff out of the air that can be used in cars.

2. The glove is so amasing. just think how the world has changed from the 60's.

3. The things we have now that we didint have back then.

4.this could chang the world if the glove gets relesed to the publice. but i know it will be at a high price.

AMASIA (No, not amnesia, AMASIA. A-M-A-S-I-A. AMASIA.), The Next big Super continent

Alright people. So I got this totally spankin’ hot article and I’m totally digging it. Now, it’s by Meera Dolisia. (Does she make every single article?) So…………………... It’s about the next super continent. Just like Pangaea, All the continents are going to fuse and form AMASIA.
Now for the first two main ideas. Ready? The first main idea is to inform us. Why? Because it tells us about stuff that will Probably bore you to death. Boring, but informative. The second idea is to explain to us why this is happening. (I hope that isn’t’ the same as informing us…) Why? Because why else would they be telling us this. DUH!
Now for the final. Main. Paragraph!!!!!!*spooky music plays In background*. I think is to make it cool. I mean, Super continents, fun names, and-wait. I just realized how fun it is to say AMASIA….AMASIA…. See? Totally fun.
All right so that’s all. *skeleton pops out of screen, grabbing the reader*…..*Bats fly everywhere*…..*It’s suddenly night time*….. Well, Happy Halloween! HA,HA,HA,HA H-*audible coughing can be heard*

My article review is about a glove that makes keyboards touch screen. This glove has made the touch screen diffrent. This touch screen glove was made by a guy named Jiake Liu. Since he came up with the touch screen glove apple has never been the same.
"Gauntlet (Generally Accessible Universal Nomadic Tactile Low-Power Electronic Typist) is a smart glove that essentially turns you hand into a keyboard. Invented by a team of researchers led by Jiake Liu at the University of Alabama, the glove is fitted with wireless keyboard functionality. When the user types his/her message, a conductive wire transmits it to a small matchbox size control unit that sits on the back of the glove. This in turn uses a Blue Tooth to send the commands to any device ranging from a gaming machine to a computer and even a smartphone."
To make the touch screen glove work, you have to make the movements of the most commonly used letters. What is even cooler about the glove is that when you memerize where the letters are, you just have to take the stickers off the glove, and they appear on the phone. This could be one of the most useful things in the world. I hope you enjoy my article!!!!!!!

But as promised, after uttering the words 'I am coming home', the fearless man jumped off and for a few heart-stopping moments disappeared from sight. According to Felix, while the exit was perfect, it was extremely difficult to control his body from spinning out of control because he was hurtling down so rapidly. He knew that he had to do something to stabilize himself quickly or risk losing consciousness, which would have been fatal. While he managed to do it, he says it was much harder than he had thought it would be and at times, extremely terrifying. In fact, so occupied was he that he didn't even know that he had broken the sound barrier until he was on the ground.

I pick this article because it looked cool and I saw hello kitty so I just clicked on it. I thought this would be cool and fun to read about and I just like looking at all the pictures. Some of the staff on here is pretty cool. But the main reason I pick this was because I thought it really fun to try some of this staff out. The main thing I want to try is the photo booth challenge.
This made me think harder when I tried to do it. You have to try to make every one fit without getting hurt and that is really hard when you put more than two people in a box. The main thing this photo booth challenge makes you do is think. Because you have to really try not to fall when your no top. So it is fun exciting so if you get a chance try it.
If I ever have to fit more than two people in a photo. So if you really have to fit more than two people anywhere even a car bend. And it will make you think harder than what you really do. So if try this its super fun and exciting to do.

It’s A Bird, It’s A Plane, It’s An Alien Spaceship?

This pargragh is going to be about what they think is in the sky.
They think it’s a bird the first time.
Second they think it’s a plane.
The last time they think it’s an Alien Spaceship.
Now it’s time to start talking bisnice.

Over the past few years people have spotted UFOs.
Flying in the sky objects.
They were flying in the skys.
Then they knew it was an alien.
Some people cough it on tape.

You could only see it in the dark.
They still don’t know what it it.
Or what it’s doing here.
It is going around that it there.
Some people think it could be dandrous.

There really excited.
It’s very big.
They think it was man made.

I'm writing on the article about "The Real Reason Skies Go Dark After The Sun Sets."
A question we all need to ask. Way back in 1823 a German astronomer asked, the same question. Some said, it was dust blocking the stars, others said, maybe not enough stars. As they say both facts are false.
After some thinking astronomers can only blame the dark on the finite age of the Universe or better called the Observable Universe. They say it is 13.7 billion years old and that any light from the stars cannot be seen by the naked eyes so it gives us the dark sky.
There is another reason for dark skies. That is the Universe is growing and pushing the stars further away. They say, in years to come, we may have to use infrared telescopes to see any stars. Stars do leave a streak of faint infrared light behind.
This is a very important and something we need to know about as to how this will effect us in the future.

I chosse to wright about fearless felix breaks the sound barrier. On sunday, october 14th over eight million people tuned into youtube. They wached Felix Baumgartner as he atempted something out of this world .43 years old he atempted to leap from the edge of space. Wow and you thought u had done something out of this world well get a load of this. . The exciting event began to unfold at about 11:30". Takeing of from New Mexico. The adience wached as he disapeard in to the sky. At 62,000 feet he reached the armstrong limit where the atmospheric pressure is so low where the atmosoheric pressure is so low that if not protected adequately. Humans blood starts to boil.
Then something amazingly awesome happened at 2:08, 128,000 feet above the earth.Felix opend up the door to his capsil and prepared to jump. This one molment in time was about to make his lifee a hole lot more exciting. I mean what a dare deveal who in there right mind would atempt something like this well obviously this guy is not in his right mind. Then like BAM he uttered the words IM COMEING HOME and jumped.
Acording to Felix it was extreamly difficult to control. For a few heart stoping molments flying through air he knew he had to do something to stabilize him self quikly or risk lossing consciousness. Wile maneging to do it and extreamly terifiyed at times. He said it was much harder than what he had expected. "Thankfully all went well and after 4 min 20 sec of free falling , Felix reached his parachute opening altitude of 5,000 feet". Upon compleating the jump Felix broke the record for the first man to free fall through the sound barrier. With all this excitment the one record he dident beake was the longest free fall but was not dis apointed. Do you have to see that to believe it?!!

MAN JUMPS FROM SPACE, AND BREAKS THE SOUND BARIER

So there’s this guy named Felix Baumgartner who jumped from space. I’m going to tell you some stuff about his leap of faith.
On October 14th, 2012, on a Sunday. More than eight million people went to youtube to watch Felix Baumgartner jump from space. The 43 year old completed the jump as planned. When he landed he just got up and walked over to his cheering fans as if nothing happened.
The plan started to form at about 11:30 am. Felix’s 550-foot tall balloon took off from New Mexico. The breathless audience watched as it turned into a smaller speck. Felix felt his first hurdle at 62,000 feet. Scientists call this area the Armstrong Limit. The Armstrong limit is where the atmospheric pressure is so low that human blood starts to boil!!!
Although there were some scary things that happened when he jumped, he made it bak to Earth safely. He landed where he was expected to and was fine well that’s it for now.

why does it go dark when the sun set?(Sounds fake to us about zillions of sparkly stars?)I thought the sun set because other countries need the sun.Stars are like the sun so they light up the sky and the moon is bright because the sun is shining on the moon.I think their is millions of stars and the moon is planet.Space is expanding so the people who study the earth thinks thats why are night getting longer.People think our stars are getting pushed away from the earth. The stars are litten by the moons light and shooting stars are froms of gas that the stars need to stay in the sky when they dont have the gas thy fly through the space that why we need the stars so we can see the moon.

For many years people have been seeing UFO’s (Unidentified Flying Objects). Many people stop and think maybe that is a UFO an alien spacecraft. In Eastern Kentucky people have seen something that looks like two florescent lights joined together. Many people have caught it on tape.
Sometimes this thing will get smaller and dimmer and then disappear from view. Many people are now believing in aliens. Many people think it is man-made but who would of sent it there.

I’m writing about how "British Scientists Create Gasoline From Thin Air (And Water)!”. I wanted to write about this because people need to find a better way to made fuel for the cars that won’t hurt the environment. Of course, it’s made by British it will still help the environment.
With gas prices so high, and of course with the harmful environmental impact of the fossil fuel. The quest to find another source of finding a better fuel for the environment. Over the years they have seen many amazing alternatives ranging from electricity to bio-fuel but none come even close to this latest invention – Fuel manufactured from air and water!

2THE INCREDIBLE GLOVE THAT MAKES TOUCH SCREEN KEYBOARDS SO....YESTERDAY
BY; Meera Dolasia
This was first seen by Apple Inc. It came out in 2007on iphone screens. Were it used to respond to a stylus it now responds to the glove. Jiake Liu is now trying to make it so you don’t have to use a glove only your hands.
This glove can magicaly turn your hands into a keyboard. It is fitted with a wireless keyboard. When the person types in the message a conductive wire sends ot to a blue tooth which then transmits the message to the correct person.
When the glove memerizes the alphabet it can then make hand gestures and it feels like they are in a video game. The glove is predicted to help people with disabilities.Jiake was inspired to make this glove by the movie Minority Report.
This was an educational article. It told a lot about our world and its amazing technology. Our scientist are very smart. I wonder how they made this and how it is all put together. Hopefully I can understand our world and its technology.

My article is about the alien spaceship article by Meera Dolasia. This is about a UFO that has been seen across the skies of Eastern Kentucky. The UFO resembled two florescent lights joined together. It was witnessed by many locals and caught on tape by an amatuer astronomer named Allen Epling.
He said on t Tuesday October 16th he was entertaining some friends when one of the grandaughters of the guests spotted what she believed was a cool looking airplane. Allen said that it would get brighter and visible to the naked eye then dim down and disappear. What intrigued him was that it was able be at high altitudes with no propellers or propulsion system for a long period of time.
So far nobody from the U.S. Department of Defense has claimed anything like this. This has alien life believers buzzing with excitement. They think that this object was a spceship and is from an alien command center. Allen thinks that this is man-made, not an alien spaceship.
I chose this article because I thought it looked cool and interesting to read. I learned that there are alot more people that believe in alien life than I realized. I thoght this could help me in the future by letting me know if alien life exsited or not.

The article I chose is called ‘Fearless Felix’ Breaks the Sound Barrier’. By: Meera Dolasia. This article is about a guy named Felix Baumgartner. Felix had made an amazing jump from space. When Felix’s helium balloon got to 62,000 ft, area scientists often refer to as the Armstrong limit. His faceplate visor began to fog up.
Felix could not do anything because his balloon, there was no way of stopping it. Then Felix opened the door of his capsule and prepared to jump. When he jumped out he said the words “I am coming home”. Felix said that it was hard to control his body from spinning rapidly. If he kept spinning he would possibly lost his consciousness when he was falling if he didn’t control his self. Felix didn’t even know when he broke the sound barrier.
Felix is a 43 year old that jumped from space now I think that’s pretty cool! Anyway, after 4 minutes 20 seconds of free-falling, he reached for his parachute and then safely glided down. ‘Felix broke the record for the first man to free fall through the sound barrier’. However, Felix did not brake the record for the longest free fall. Joe Kittinger broke that record when he jumped. Felix is not going to be jumping anymore or doing some crazy stuff because he is going to retire and do some less crazy stuff.
I felt that this article was interesting to me. I felt like that because I thought it was cool that he jumped from space and came out perfectly unharmed. I found that it was cool because he broke the sound barrier! I think this information is important because if I wanted to jumped from space then I would need to know how high to jump and how long to free fall to beat the record of those. Then if I wanted to be apart of making the world records book I would need to know this.

I’m summarizing “'Fearless Felix' Breaks the Sound Barrier!” by Meera Dolasia.
“On Sunday, October 14th, over eight million people tuned in to YouTube to watch Felix Baumgartner as he attempted his historic leap from the edge of Space - And they were not disappointed.” I wonder what they are watching. WOW that is a lot of people.
“But as promised, after uttering the words 'I am coming home', the fearless man jumped off and for a few heart-stopping moments disappeared from sight.” Holy cow that is a long jump(128,000 feet above the ground).I would NOT want to jump that far unless I had to.
“But thankfully, all went well and after 4 minutes 20 seconds of free-falling, Felix reached his parachute opening altitude of 5,000 feet and then gracefully glided down to his designated landing spot about 40 miles east of Roswell”. Wow that is a long time to free fall. WOW that is really cool.
“Upon completing the epic jump, Felix broke the record for the first man to free fall through the sound barrier, the highest manned flight and the man to jump from the highest altitude.” That deserves a new record.

British Scientists Create Gasoline From Thin Air (And Water)!
By Meera Dolasia

With gas prices so expensive, are you looking for a cheaper alternative? Well, British scientists have. They have created gasoline out of water and air!

I think this is a perfect idea, because in modern times, gas isn't the cheapest thing you can get. This will really help reduce gas prices all over the world. If they can get factories that make the gasoline out of air and water, then there will be a surplus of the gas, so the gas will become way cheaper.

If this happens, people all over the world will stop having to worry about their well earned cash being spent on gas. Gas is probably the product that is used the most out of pretty much anything, because people have to travel. The scientists will solve many problems with their new solution.

I chose this article because gas prices are quickly increasing. In a few years I will be driving, so I find it unimportant to chose another article. This solution could be a major help to me in the future, and the other articles would not help me that much.

The object in the sky seemed to be able to stay at high altitude for a long period of time without any apparent propellers or propulsion system. So far everybody from the US department of Defense to the local airport authorities has denied having anything remotely like this in the skies on that day. This has believers of aliens societies buzzing with excitement. They think that the two florescent light bulbs were large Lightships and the flying object was an alien spaceship from the Ashtar Galactic Command. Allen isn’t too sure about that. He stills believes it was something man-made – Just not sure what and who sent it there!

My review is on the article “It’s A Bird, its A Plane, its An Alien Spaceship?” Written by Meera Dolaisa. I picked this article because really it seemed the most interesting. I really don’t believe in aliens but who knows, maybe their real! Really in this story it’s a mystery to most people, but maybe they can determine what this odd object is in future!

While entertaining guests on October 16th someone spotted what appeared to be “a cool plane.” Allen Epling, an amateur astronomer, caught the UFO on tape. The UFO looked very much like two florescent light joined together. This “object” seemed to not have propellers or propulsion system to keep it at such a high altitude. Just more evidence to claim it as an UFO. None so far has claimed to be theirs, but maybe with time someone will.

The US Department of Defense are sure they had nothing like this in the skies that day, so what was it and where did come from? Although some people don’t think it’s an alien spaceship, some are saying it came from the Ashtar Galactic Command. The alien societies are buzzing with delight but it still yet to be proven that the object was indeed an alien spaceship!

I chose this article because I don’t believe in aliens but would like to be proven wrong. This particular article was not the one that really got you thinking that there might just be aliens. All in all it was okay. This article let me learn that not all spaceships look like flying saucers. This information can help me in the future when if I start studying how things are built and how they can work without needing this or that. But the question still remains, what was that thing in the sky?

I chose the passage about the dogs. I chose this one because it sounded very interesting to me. The passage was a bout dogs that were trying to break world records.
There were for dogs all competing to be the worlds smallest dog but in order to qualify the dog had to be at least one year old. One of the dogs were only 1.58 ounces. That's a bout as much as 10 pens!!!
This article caught my interest because it look very interesting from some of the pictures I had seen. I think it's fascinating that dogs can weigh so little and still be a live! The leading worlds smallest dog though is a chihuahua that is 6 years old and is only 4 inches tall and 1.5 pounds, talk a bout small
