The cell phone turns 40 years-old! On April 3, 1973, the Motorola Vice President Martin Cooper, walked on the New York City sidewalk and placed the first known cell phone call in history. Did you know that it took 10 year to make a cell phone! Dude, people make cell phone every minute. And the first cell phone was called "The Brick"

Crows are the oldest alarm clock for farmers known to mankind. But do roosters know when it’s morning or not. So a couple of researcher took a couple of roosters and did some tests. 12 hours of normal lights and 12 hours of dim light. Yet, they all crowed 2 hours prior to the normal light. Then the roosters were given a harder test……..and they succeeded.

It was about pigs that live on a tiny island in the Bahamas called Big Mayor Cay. Nobody knows how the pigs ended up there. The pigs eat the food that the tourists give them. That was an interesting article.

Swimming Pigs Live The Ultimate Life Of Luxury In The Bahamas

Any mention of the Bahamas tends to evoke images of pristine white sands, crystal clear water and. pigs/ Apparently they are the main attraction for the manyof tourists that sail past the tiny island of Big Mayor Cay, better known as, Pig Island. No one is quite sure how the porkers ended up at this paradise, that not only gets best weather, but is also, protected from the tropical storms thanks to its location in the midst of the bigger islands. However, if rumor is to be believed they can attribute their good fortune to some sailors who were passing by the area a few years ago, and decided to leave the pigs there to guarantee themselves a safe and reliable source of food for when they returned.
fortunately for the pigs, they never did and the animals soon settled down and even figured out that if they learnt to swim, they could easily feed off the excess food that yachts passing the area regularly seemed to toss out.The sole inhabitants of the island who lived hidden from the limelight until they were discovered by photographer Erich Cheung in 2009, have adapted to the beach lifestyle quite well - They spend their days lazing around frolicking in the sand. When they get hungry, they simply dip into the tranquil warm waters to seek out the delectable morsels left for them by the tourists that traverse the area aboard their cruise boats.

Of course, now that they are no longer a secret, tourist ships go out of their way to tour the island and provide even more delectable treats. Now if only someone could figure out how to get the pigs some beach chairs and cocktails, life would be perfect!

I chose the article Swimming Pigs. In the Bahamas they have pigs that go swimming. The only way it survives is it swims in the water and eats what the yachts lose. The pigs swim where ever they want to swim to. They cant swim to far or the pigs will be eaten by the sharks.

I read swimming Pigs Live the Ultimate Life of Luxury in the Bahamas, By Meera Dolasia on April 6, 2013. Pig can swim wow that is cool.

In the Bahamas pig swim and not fly but it is still cool. It is so cool people come and see them as a tour.

The pigs eat scrapes people thought in the water and they eat it. So they clean the ocean and keep it clean they are sating the example for us.

That is still to cool I can’t believe it even if I see it with my own eyes.

I am summarizing the article Swimming Pigs Live the Ultimate Life of Luxury in the Bahamas. The author is Meera Dolasia. The main idea is that pigs are living on an island by themselves and surviving by finding food left behind by tourists.
In 2009 Erich Cheung discovered that pigs have been living on the island of Big Mayor Cay in the Bahamas. They like to play in the sand and if they get hungry they go in the water to search for passing cruise boats so tourists will feed them food, or food they’ve left behind.
No one knows for sure but one guess is that some sailors that passed by the island left the pigs to come back and eat later. The sailors never came back, so the pigs adapted to swimming and finding food from tourists.
I chose this article because I wanted to know why the pigs were swimming in the Bahamas.

If you happen to live near a farm or are one of those city dwellers that have a chicken coop complete with a rooster, you are probably used to being awakened by their customary crows at the crack of dawn. However, given that these birds also crow noisily at the slightest disturbance, made two animal physiology researchers wonder if the roosters truly knew that it was morning or, if they were just faking it. The reason why they crow is to wake humans up. They know when morning is.

Swimming Pigs Live The Ultimate Life Of Luxury In The Bahamas

If you haven’t guesses already, this passage was written by Meera Dolasia. This is also about pigs, but if you didn’t get that, im worried .Now back to business, In the Bahamas on the tiny island Big Mayor Cay, the main attraction is of course the beautiful scenery, but one thing you wouldn’t think of is pigs (well unless you read the title, then you probably would). These pigs are so popular that people actually call the island, pig island. No one really knows how they got there, but hey, who would want to keep a cute little pig from swimming. NO ONE!!!!! EVERYBODY LOVES PIGS!!!!!

Researchers Solve The Age-Old Mystery Of Why Roosters Crow!!!
I read the most interesting article, Researchers Solve The Age-Old Mystery Of Why Roosters Crow, by Meera Dolasia! Most interesting, precious, yesss.
Scientists in Japan have been researching whether roosters actually know when it’s dawn, or whether they are just ‘faking it’.
The scientists put three groups of four roosters each into soundproof rooms. They could beam different amounts of light and sound. They began by giving three groups twelve hours of normal light and twelve hours of dim light. The roosters crowed two hours before dawn! It is similar to the lighting conditions outside, at predawn. They were put through more tests after this one, though. They were subject to 24 hours of dim light. This did not fool the roosters.
They continued to crow at the same time, every test. Their internal clock was set for predawn! The scientists were stunned, those tricksy roosters, them. The precious continued to crow at the same time every time.
This was a very interesting article and I enjoyed it reading it, precious, yesss.

I read Swimming Pigs Live The Ultimate Life Of Luxury In The Bahamas by Meera Dolasis. In the Bahamas there's a island called Pig Island near the Big Mayor Island. At the Pig Island there are swimming pigs in this paradise living the life. They were photographed by Erich Cheung in 2009. "Fortunately for the pigs, they never did and the animals soon settled down and even figured out that if they learnt to swim, they could easily feed off the excess food that yachts passing the area regularly seemed to toss out" They learnt to swim so they can figure out when the yahts come in with food, and they now when food is.

In the crystal waters of the Bahammas, is not only the beautiful sunshine but also pigs. When the pigs get hungry they hop into the water and find food from yachets that have been tossed. No one actually know how they ended up there but thay did. People usually get in the water and swim with them just like dolphins. This artcile was interesting because I have never heard of something like this before.

I am Writing about “Swimming Pigs Live The Ultimate Life of Luxury In The Bahamas.” Before I read this I first read the title and also looked at the pictures to figure what I think this passage would be about. I think this passage according to the title and pictures…that’s it’s about how the pigs learned how to swim in the ocean and learn to do tricks maybe? Lets find out.
There is an island named Big Mayor Cay known as pig island because of all the pigs that swim in the ocean on this island. And all the people see on this island besides the beauty and the fresh sea salt water is the pigs swimming in the islands ocean. The pigs play around in the sand all day until they get hungry or need to cool off then they just go into the ocean and get the delectable morsels left for them by the tourists that traverse the area aboard their cruise boats.

When mentioned, many people imagine the Bahamas to have bleach white sand, crystal clear water and…pigs? These pigs are the sole inhabitants of the island, who lived hidden from the limelight until they were discovered by photographer Erich Cheung in 2009. When you hear about the Bahamas and you usually think of crystal clear water and sand, but do you think if pigs? Well the main attraction for thousands of tourists that sail past the tiny island of Big Mayor Cay, better known as Pig Island. I read the article “Swimming Pigs Live The Ultimate Life Of Luxury In The Bahamas” By Meera Dolasia. Have you ever heard someone say “when pigs can fly”? Well what if pigs could swim? A photographer took some shots of pigs swimming in the Bahamas back in 2009.

This quote sums up the story in good words, “No one is quite sure how the porkers ended up at this paradise, that not only gets best weather, but is also, protected from the tropical storms thanks to its location in the midst of the bigger islands. However, if rumor is to be believed they can attribute their good fortune to some sailors who were passing by the area a few years ago, and decided to leave the pigs there to guarantee themselves a safe and reliable source of food for when they returned. Fortunately for the pigs, they never did and the animals soon settled down and even figured out that if they learnt to swim, they could easily feed off the excess food that yachts passing the area regularly seemed to toss out.” This story is pretty amazing and it got my attention.

So you can probably see why I chose this weird and amazing story. I will send you off with a rather funny quote from the article. “In fact, over the years, they have become so savvy that they now sense when the next shipment of food is going to be dropped off and dash out to meet the yachts as they arrive.”

Apparently Pigs Swim These Days

I am summarizing an article about pigs swimming in The Bahamas. This article was published by Meera Dolasia on April 6th, 2013. Apparently this one of the main attractions for tourists in The Bahamas. (Tourists sail past the tiny island of Big Mayor Cay, better known as, Pig Island.)

Know one really knows why the pigs showed up, (but some people think that sailors from a few years ago left the pigs there because they can attribute the sailors good fortune.) Tourist like to swim with the pigs(which I think is really odd.)

I find this article very strange, because I didn't know that pigs could swim. I don’t know why people would want to swim with them, because I find it a little odd. This is my article review.
