i think they get their name cause they are clear there for chloro for chlorine. i have no idea why threy get their name

I think its called that because of the person who discovered it. Mabye from a well known scientist. He was looking at it in an microscope and named it after himself.

I think it was named after a Chiness or someone from the far east. Like Sinor Champiun Chloroplast or Genmen Klatopas Chloroplast

I think it called chloroplasts because it is clorine. Its named after a scientists in the south hemisphere

I don’t know why but I think it was to do with science where it got its name. I need to learn more because I don’t know that much about it. It will help us because we will be learning more of it.

I think htat chloroplasts got their names for someone really smart that made a microscope so that they could look at them in detail. We need to know this because we might have test over this stuff. It will help me in the future if i want to be a scientist.

Because chloro might mean something in a different language. That might be why it is called a chloroplast. it might mean green plant thingy.

How did chloroplasts get there name... well there could be many reasons, like chloroplast could be the man/womans name who discoved them, also it could be because there is some type of clorine conpound in it.Who really knows, anyway that is how i think cloroplasts got there name.

I think chloroplast was probly named that, because probly whoever named it had the last name of Chloroplast or soething similiar to it. Or it could be that they named it that, because it is like some kind of plaster for the cell. That is just my guess, I do not know for sure, but I would like to know what chloroplast is. I would like to know, so I can understand this section in science much better. I would, also, like to know what it is so I can do better on the test.

they are probably called chlorolplasts becasue they got their name from the guy that discovered them. chlorolplasts protect the cell. it would be interesting to find out where they got their name.

Chloroplasts is called that because of the plaster that surounds the surface of the object and it takes its name by the chlorophyl.

I think that the chloroplasts get their name from the chlorophyll inside of the cell. It could also be from the chlorine or something like that.. I would need to know about this for future studies about cells.
